In our group we have the following diploma projects:
· Design of quantum gates and circuits · Quantification and classification of multipartite quantum entangled systems (entanglement measure, entanglement witnesses, invariant theory, etc.) · Geometrical and topological structures of multipartite quantum systems (complex projective varieties, geometric invariant theory, fiber bundle, etc.) · Distributed quantum computing (distributed quantum algorithms and protocols, etc.) · Topological quantum computing (topological quantum gate entangler, holonomic quantum computing, etc.) · Quantum dynamics of multipartite quantum systems (dynamical structure of quantum entangled systems, multipartite quantum control) You are very welcome to contact me even if you do not have basic knowledge of quantum information and quantum computation or geometry and topology. In such case we can still find a suitable diploma project for you, because this fascinating field of research is new and there are many interesting open problems for those who are interested in quantum physics, theoretical and mathematical physics.
