On the evening of 11 September the OKC hosted a public event for the Stockholm community to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The auditorium, Kungasalen at the Royal College of Music, was packed to standing-room-only capacity. The evening began with a student jazz ensemble (William Benckert, Gabriel Lundh och Axel Nilsson) playing a short set. OKC Director Dr. Hiranya Peiris then introduced the OKC and the speakers. Dr. Katherine Freese spoke about dark matter and the prospects for its detection. After the talk Dr. Sean Carroll joined Dr. Freese onstage and they discussed cosmological topics in more detail.
