Scientists address commissioner in open letter

The scientists at Baltic eye adresses the European Environmental Commissioner Mr. Karmenu Vella in an open letter. The purpose is to highlight what measures could lead to healthier Baltic Sea based on scientific knowledge.

A new way of communicating science

Baltc Eye chooses to spread scientific knowledge in a new way. The letter and movie is built upon international research about the Baltic Sea environment, but by launching a campaign instead of the typical and regular report, the Baltic Eye team hopes to reach more persons interested in the Baltic Sea. 90 million persons live within the Baltic Sea catchment, that is nearly 20 % of all European Union citizens.
