Project description

One postdoctoral opening will be available for an outstanding individual to work with Prof. Anders Nilsson in the areas of x-ray scattering and x-ray photon correlation spectroscopy of water and amorphous ices at x-ray lasers and synchrotron radiation facilities. This particular project aims to understand the glass transition in amorphous ice and dynamics of ultra-viscous water. The position will be placed at Stockholm University but the postdoctoral fellow will travel frequently to DESY and XFEL in Hamburg, Stanford/SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, SACLA in Japan and PAL in Korea.

The XSoLaS-group in the Division of Chemical Physics at the Department of Physics focuses on three different research areas, beside research on water and hydrogen bonding in liquids, we also investigate fundamental reactivity at surfaces and electrochemical processes, see

Main responsibilities

Research within the areas described above.
