PhD positions

All open PhD positions are announced on this webpage. This is done four times per year.  Announcements in 2020 are published February 3rd (with last application date March 1st), April 2nd (April 23rd), September 2nd (September 29th) and October 15th (November 5th). For 2021 the dates will be similar but are yet not decided. Contact the Director of Postgraduate Studies for more information about the program.

PhD student in radiation dosimetry with accelerator physics applications

The instrumentation physics group at the Department of Physics at the Stockholm University invites applicants for a Ph.D. position to work on stray radiation assessment in the undulators at the XFEL. Ref. No. SU FV-0363-20, closing date: 1 March 2020.

PhD student in experimental particle physics with the NNBAR experiment

The elementary particle physics group at Stockholm University invites applicants for a Ph.D. position to work on the design of a detector system, including beam tests, for a future particle physics experiment (NNBAR) for the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund. Ref. No. SU FV-0351-20, closing date: 1 March 2020.

PhD student in Resolution-unlimited quantum measurements

A PhD position is available in the Quantum Photonics group to conduct research related to resolution-unlimited measurement of the spatial separation of two emitters by detection and analysis of the spatial mode structure. Ref. No. SU FV-0350-20, closing date: 1 March 2020.
