The Division of Chemical Physics

The Division of Chemical Physics was formed in the Autumn of 2011 by merging of the previous Molecular Physics and part of the Quantum Chemistry divisions. It has about 50 members including faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, diploma workers, and guest researchers.

Postdoctoral fellow in theoretical modeling of x-ray spectroscopy

The research group XSoLaS at the Department of Physics, Stockholm University have a postdoctoral fellow opening for an outstanding individual to conduct theoretical studies, development and modeling to support and guide a world-leading experimental effort in the area of fundamental aspects of heterogeneous catalysis with a focus on CO 2 reduction to abate climate change and promote a sustainable energy future. Ref. No. SU-0160-18, closing date 2018-11-30.

Postdoctoral Fellow in Theoretical Chemical Physics

A postdoctorial position at the Department of Physics is immediately available in the area of theoretical modelling of photovoltaic materials and related simulations of X-ray spectra. Ref. No. SU FV-3661-18, closing date: 20 December 2018.

Postdoctoral Fellow in development of X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy towards High Pressures

The Department of Physics have a postdoctoral fellow opening for an outstanding individual to work with Dr. Peter Amann on the development of x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) towards applications under realistic catalytic conditions. Ref. No. SU FV-3646-18, closing date: 28 December 2018.
