The CoPS division

The group of Cosmology, Particle Astrophysics and Strings (CoPS) at the Physics Department (“Fysikum”) of Stockholm University was formed in 2004. Our research is focused on dark matter (both theory and experiment), dark energy (both theory and experiment), cosmology, string theory and general relativity. We are also members of the Oskar Klein Centre.

Postdoctoral Fellow in instrumentation and data analysis for CMB experiments

We are advertising a postdoc position to work with Dr. Jon E. Gudmundsson on novel research in instrumentation, simulation, and data analysis for experiments studying the cosmic microwave background (CMB), including SPIDER, the Simons Observatory, the LiteBIRD satellite, and CMB-S4. Ref. No. SU FV-3245-21, closing date: 15 December 2021.

Postdoctoral Fellow in Modelling and Machine Learning for LSST (3)

We are searching for outstanding individuals to conduct original research on computational modelling and/or advanced machine-learning for analysis of photometric datasets. Ref. No. SU FV-3326-21, closing date: 15 January 2022.
