The CoPS division

The group of Cosmology, Particle Astrophysics and Strings (CoPS) at the Physics Department (“Fysikum”) of Stockholm University was formed in 2004. Our research is focused on dark matter (both theory and experiment), dark energy (both theory and experiment), cosmology, string theory and general relativity. We are also members of the Oskar Klein Centre.

Postdoctoral Fellow in axion theory and astrophysics

We are searching for one outstanding individual to conduct original research on theoretical and phenomenological aspects of axions and axion-like particles. Ref. No. SU FV-3708-20, closing date: 1 December 2020.

Postdoctoral Fellow in Astroparticle or Theoretical Particle Physics

We announce a new postdoctoral position focused on astroparticle physics, broadly defined. Particular areas of emphasis include dark matter indirect detection, cosmic-ray propagation, as well as gamma-ray theory, modelling and observation. SU FV-3601-20, closing date: 1 December 2020.

Postdoctoral positions on Data Science with LSST (2)

We are searching for outstanding individuals to conduct original research on modelling and/or analysis of photometric datasets for dark energy studies using statistical inference and machine learning methods. Ref. No. SU FV-3387-20, closing date: 15 January 2021.

Division lunch meetings
