Help and support
On this page, we have gathered information and contact information for you who need support in your physics studies.

There are many places where you can find help or support, both at the Department of Physics and Stockholm University. Where you can turn to depends on what kind of question you have. Below we give some suggestions.
You can also read more on Stockholm University's central website about Life as a student.
Start with the student office
For most questions, the Student Office is the best place to go to. The head of the office is Gorica Nikolic, and if she cannot answer your question, she usually knows who can. The Student Office is located in corridor B4, 4th floor of the AlbaNova main building.
Studying with a disability
All students are welcomed at the Department of Physics. We are aware that everyone has different needs to succeed. For those of you who need extra support, it is important to know that support is available. In the first instance, you apply for support from the central student services at Stockholm University via an electronic form. Together with a coordinator, you discuss your individual needs, and receive recommendations for educational support. Based on these recommendations, you then discuss with our study counselor what fits best in the physics courses you study with us. This can, for example, be about extra time or the possibility to sit in a small group during an exam. More information is available via the central student services.
