The exchange students are offered courses taught in English on the advanced level within the Physics programme. The first years courses at the Bachelor level instead are normally given in Swedish.

Partner universities

If you are currently studying at one of our partner universities you are welcome to  study physics at our department as an exchange student. Stockholm University has both university-wide agreements and some agreements restricted to specific departments. For university-wide agreements you apply through the international office.  If your home university has a departmental agreement with us you need to contact our international coordinator. The links are found below.

Choice of courses

Before you come to Stockholm, you need to choose which courses you are going to take. Courses available at the Department of Physics can be found here.
Please notice that some courses are not given every year, so you need to plan your visit carefully according to the schedule. When you send in your application you should also attach transcript of records together with a list of courses finished before your arrival in Stockholm.
