Several physics courses given during the autumn semester are open for late application.

Information about courses given during the autumn semester

From August 31 2020, Fysikum at Stockholm University will open for campus education. The transition will take place taking current circumstances into account, and following recommendations from the government. Teaching will be given both online and on campus.

Course in Machine Learning

Course in Machine Learning for Physicists and Astronomers - open for late application

What is machine learning? How can we use it for physics or astronomy research? When to use what technique? Can machines fail to learn? The course introduces modern techniques of machine learning to an audience of physicists and astronomers, 7.5 credits (FK7068), which will be given at Fysikum during the second half of the fall of 2019.

During the summer only pre-booked video meetings. From the start of the autumn semester (August 31st) drop-in counseling is open on Tuesdays 12:00-13:00 on Zoom (se below) and Wednesdays 12:00-13:30 at the office.
