From the Equality Plan for 2013:

The Fysikum representative in the colloquium committee shall work for the number of female speakers in the colloquia to represent at least 20%.

The Equal Opportunities Group at Fysikum has compiled a list of possible female colloquia speakers and forwarded it to the AlbaNova colloquium Committee in November 2012.
2012

From the Equality Plan for 2012:

When announcing a new employment, there must be potential applicants for underrepresented sex, unless there are special reasons. It is the responsibility of the institution's representatives to invite them to apply for employment.
Responsible: The Board of Fysikum.

Follow-up 2011:

In assessing the applicants for the Lecturer in elementary particle physics, two of the applicants, a man and a woman, were found to have a clear preface before the other applicants. The institution therefore proposed the faculty to appoint two services, which was accepted.

2011

From the Equality Plan for 2011:

The smaller survey of what has been done in gender issues at other physics institutions in Sweden and in other countries should continue and interesting results should be reported to the board.

Follow-up 2010:

In 2010, contacts with other colleges have been expanded due to the preparations for the course "Physics and Gender" and the subsequent contacts with the Delegation for Gender Equality in college.

2011

From the Equality Plan for 2011:

In 2010, the Gender Equality Group will invent proposals for new forms of a female network at the institution

Follow-up 2010:

This has been tried previously without success. The Gender Equality Group proposes unruly meetings for female students and staff, for example. in the form of a communal lunch.

Follow-up 2011:  

This has been tried previously without success. During 2011 no new initiatives have been taken. The Gender Equality Group formulates this as one of the 2010 initiatives.

Follow-up 2013:

A first meeting [for the year] with the female network was held November 22, 2012.

2011

A seminar series is scheduled for 2010 to inform and raise interest in the course "Physics and Gender".

Follow-up 2010:

Three seminars have been received: Staffan Bergwik, Uppsala University 2010-03-25, Tomas Brage and Sara Goodman, Lund University 2010-05-05 and Andreas Ottemo, University of Gothenburg, 2010-11-22.

2011

Finally, a point 2010 that was not included in the Gender Equality Plan:
Fysikum had a slide show with our female teachers on the website on International Women's Day on March 8th.

This has since been repeated every year in various forms
2011

From the Equality Plan for 2011:

The syllabus for a new course "Physics and Gender" was adopted by the department and faculty 2009. For the development of this course (in cooperation with the Center for Gender Studies in Uppsala), a first implementation in spring 2011, and the subsequent evaluation, the University of Stockholm also received funds (at 490000 SEK) from the Delegation for Equal Opportunities in college. Prior to course start a series of open "inspirational lectures" are organized for students and teachers at the department.
Responsible: Barbro Åsman (course coordinator) and Sara Rydbeck, supported by the gender equality group.
Follow-up 2010:

The development of the course continues in collaboration with the external teachers, and the course will be given as planned spring semester's first period of 2011. The work to inform and promote the course for the students continues as well.

The course was given 2011-13, but then rested to reorganize as more of the central teachers are no longer available.
