Conversation with experts about the recent big saltwater inflow to the Baltic Sea this winter

The inflow occurred in December and was the biggest in 20 years. The important Baltic deeps are now filling with oxygen-rich water, that can bring new life to the dead zones. What does this mean for the Baltic animals and environment? Is it even so that inflows of this kind can save the Baltic all together? 

Science journalist Henrik Hamrén talks to Peter Lundberg, professor emeritus at the meteorological department and Lena Viktorsson, biogeochemist at Baltic Eye, Baltic Sea Centre.
