The CoPS division

The group of Cosmology, Particle Astrophysics and Strings (CoPS) at the Physics Department (“Fysikum”) of Stockholm University was formed in 2004. Our research is focused on dark matter (both theory and experiment), dark energy (both theory and experiment), cosmology, string theory and general relativity. We are also members of the Oskar Klein Centre.

Postdoctoral Fellow in Theoretical and Computational Astroparticle Physics

The Department of Physics announce a postdoctoral position focused on astroparticle physics, including both theoretical and computational studies of cosmic-ray propagation, as well as multi-wavelength models of non-thermal emission. Ref. No. SU FV-4139-19, closing date: 20 December 2019.

Postdoctoral Fellows in time-domain and multi-messenger astrophysics and cosmology (2)

Up to two positions will be available for outstanding individuals to conduct original research on transient and multimessenger astrophysics and cosmology. Ref. No. SU FV-3288-19, closing date: 15 January 2020.

Postdoctoral Fellows in observational cosmology and astrophysics with LSST (3)

Three positions will be available for outstanding individuals to conduct original research on large scale structure cosmology, transient and multimessenger astrophysics, or low surface brightness extragalactic science. Ref. No. SU FV-3276-19, closing date: 15 January 2020.

Division lunch meetings
