Condensed Matter and Quantum Optics

The research of the division of Condensed Matter and Quantum Optics is both experimental and theoretical. The research focuses on the fundamental aspects of quantum phenomena in light and matter, and has several potential applications in quantum information technology, quantum electronics and nanotechnology. Theoretical work also span broader areas of physics.

PhD student in Theory of Dynamic Quantum Matter

The project is on the theoretical description of dynamical and non-equilibrium states of matter with an emphasis on topological and other exotic phenomena. Ref. No. SU FV-1195-21, closing date: 23 April 2021.

PhD student in Photonic quantum metrology

A PhD position is available in the Quantum Photonics group to conduct research in the field of Photonic quantum metrology. Ref. No. SU FV-1194-21, closing date: 23 April 2021.
