The two Swedish adventurers Sören Kjellkvist and Oskar Kihlborg have succeeded in their unique and extreme mission - to cross the open sea between Gotland and Stockholm on a Stand Up Paddleboard.

Highlighting the problem with plastics in our seas

By collecting microplastics while paddling they want to raise awareness about problems connected to microplastics, especially the unnecessary plastic pollution by personal care products. A new study estimates that the Baltic Sea is polluted by about 40 tonnes of microplastics that originates from our use of various cosmetics and personal care products, such as scrubbs, shower gel and toothpaste - every year.
